So your new here?
Welcome! Coming to a new church can always generate a little bit of anxiety, you never quite know what to expect. Although this can’t replace the actual experience of visiting hopefully it will give you a better picture of who we are.
What time is church?
At 10:00 AM we come together for an English language service. This service is inclusive of all people no matter where you come from or how well you speak English.
What’s the address?
18 Clarence St, Burwood.
As there is no on site parking you will need to park in the street. We are just a few short minutes walk from Burwood Train Station and there are regular buses that stop just around the corner. Check out the map below:
What about my kids?
While you’re very welcome to keep your kids in the church with you during the service we also have a Sunday School program called WonderFull Kids for children aged 4 and up. There is also a play area with toys in the foyer for young children who get too restless.
What can I expect on a Sunday?
You can expect to meet some genuine people who care about God and each other. We are a smaller church but we are warm, welcoming and want to get to know you. We would be happy to have you join us whether you are just visiting on holidays, looking for a new place to worship, looking for some answers or just need a bit of space to reflect on life. You can expect a warm and genuine welcome. We would be delighted to have you join us in worship whether you are seeking to link with a group of believers, visiting on holidays or just needing to have some space for your own reflection.
What happens in a church service?
Our services feature a practical life-oriented message from the Bible, a time for praying, singing and an opportunity to share in the communion if you wish to. Our services go for just over an hour and afterwards we all gather to chat with coffee and something sweet to eat.
Am I expected to make a donation?
If you’re visiting us there is no expectation on you to contribute financially.
